Sold 1934 Ford Cabriolet Convertible Custom Made Street Rod Sold

The engine is a late model Chevrolet 350 V8 4V 'crate' engine with factory chrome valve covers. Hooker headers are installed with catalytic converters. The ignition is stock HEI. Stock style brackets and air cleaner are installed. Some cosmetic wear was noted on the painted areas.

The transmission is a 700R4 - according to the owner - with a Lokar shifter and a Ford nine-inch rear axle.

The tires are Coker Classic WW 195/75R14's on the front end and P225/75's on the rear with 6K wear. The rims are steel smoothies painted apple green with standard smooth hubcaps and trim rings that show no wear.

The paint is black gloss with a green pinstripe and is approximately 8-9 years old. Light wear was noted along the sill areas and a few small nicks were noted. No major scratches were observed and the shine is still good overall.

A Pioneer AM/FM/CD KeIIP 5900 is installed under the dash with a six-pack changer mounted in the rear.

The windshield and side glass are tinted and show no damage. The roof and A post weather-strips are damage free while the door strips have some crushing noted. The felts show as new.

The door handles show very well overall with a minor scratch noted on the passenger unit. The mirrors show well with only a small mark noted on the passenger mount. The cowl lights and windshield frame are clean with a good finish. The headlight trim shows as new. The grill shows like new. The horn shows like new. The front bumper has a very good shine while the guards have light rust. The rear bumper shows well, again with light rust noted on the guards. The dual taillights show like new.

This vehicle is also equipped with power steering, power four wheel disc brakes, tinted glass, electric wipers, tilt, stereo, vintage air a/c.

The interior is brown leather and vinyl. The dash paint shows minimal wear. The gauges are classic instruments and are damage free. A tilt GM column has a custom wooden banjo style steering wheel that is like new. The OE style rubber mat is damage free. The door panels show well with some refitting needed on the driver's unit. The bright trim shows like new. The seat is damage free. The rear rumble seat and panels show as new. The wooden door cap shows well with no major finish wear noted.

The body and fenders are an older replica fiberglass kit that is damage free with a good panel fit. The hood and side panels are metal and are also damage free. The frame is a Horton's unit with an X member and appears damage free.

Modifications: The front suspension is based on a Mustang II with tubular upper and lower control arms, Ford spindles and GM brakes. A manual rack and pinion is installed. The rear suspension is a four-link setup with coilovers. The wiring, fuel tanks etc. is all custom built / installed.
